Final Thoughts, Advice for Under Classmen

Ok so I can sit here and say…be yourself….be good….be true….etc.. but I won’t. High School was fun, now I hate to say it but I can barely tell you what I truly learned in school but I can tell you that I met the most amazing people EVER.

To all future seniors make sure that you have fun in high school, but while you have fun make sure you do your work. Learn to procrastinate well because that’s the Academy way. You’re going to make friends that you hate and friends that you love and friends that you’ll probably never see again, but don’t think about that right now. During these four years you’re going to make decisions excuse me life long decisions. You’re going to make mistakes, lots and lots of mistakes, but don’t worry they’ll get fixed.

They’re going to be teachers you hate and teachers that you want to curse out. If it’s Mr. Nestfield, don’t hesitate, he’s worth it. There’s going to be teachers you love. You know the Ms. Aronson’s, the Ms. Rochman’s, the Ms. Powell’s, and the Dr. Hall’s. Cherish them because they’ll help you no matter what. There’s going to be teachers that stay in your life for two seconds and then they disappear and you’ll never learn in that class, but you know what that’s the Academy way too.

Word to the wise, just try not to mess up and if you have to pick a year, make it sophomore year. Freshmen year sets the pace for everything and junior year helps you prepare for college. The first trimester of Senior year, you’re going to need that. Be ware for guidance counselors that you hate, they’re not that bad. Make sure you’re doing your part though. Do your work your three years of high school and as for senior year, well I’ll tell you about senior year.
Work hard your first trimester, but don’t forget to party. Work your second trimester, don’t forget to party. Don’t completely slack off your third trimester and party the hardest you ever had because you made it through four years of crap, four years of love, four years of hate, and four years of pure bliss. There will be distractions and you know what fall into them. You only get to go to high school once, just make sure you stay on top of your work. Live life, love life, and take a whole bunch of pictures.

Sincerly,
Bianca
