ALL ABOUT BONKS!

In September 2005 I enter the Englewood Public School District as a Freshmen at the Academies@Englewoodood in the Law and Public Safety Academy. I knew no one but my best friend Arielle Davis, who i met in previous years. In order to meet people before officially starting school i joined a softball team that was coached by one of the gym teachers at DMAE. On the team I met one of my very good friends Lindsay Maclin. Freshmen year is a bit of a blur but consisted of me being a tri-athlete (basketball, softball, tennis), a member of the marching band, a student ambassador, and avid individual in the school's music program.Sophomore year I began to branch out, and even change the sports that I played ( volleyball and softball). Sophomore year was tough we had no free, pep rally got cancelled mid way, and Dr. Schreck could not teach to save his life. My circle of friends got tighter...well at least i feel like i got closer to them. I took 3 music classes this year! crazyyy! I did hair and makeup for the play Sepia's song, and even go to travel to Greece... ok so maybe sophomore wasn't as bad as it sounded.Junior year...ooo boy things started out great and got rocky for a little....ok for a while. But before that everything was cool. Needless to say Mr. David was one of the best teacher i ever had in my life, i swear if i win a Noble Peace Prize or something i WILL thank him! But he loved what he taught...he taught it well....but hey it's science and math ...not a good look for me. I dropped all sports this year to concentrate on school but in addition to dropping my sports i picked up a hell of a lot of other things. FBLA, African American West Indian Club, Madrigals, High School Musical and the list goes on. Physics...the HARDEST class i ever took in my life point blank. But yeah Junior year was hard...the only year a had a real falling out...i lost friends over stupid shit. but i got them back now and everything is in the pass. Senior year!! When it came i couldn't believe...the end of this chapter and the start of another. My senior has been fun....i applied to a lot of schools....and got into a lot of school. I didn't think I'd end up choosing Johnson and Wales University but I'm glad i did! My grades I won't lie they were not on point this year. But i kept up with what i needed to, and i had a great senior year! I became closer with everyone this year i had full conversation with people i haven't spoken to since freshmen year.

But none of this would have been possible if i didn't have my friends by my side:

Arielle, Brittany, Lindsay, Jacquetta, Patrice, Rachel, Louis, Sinachi, Arabelle, Aaron, Cory, Kenya, Alana, Lawbensky, Lakia, and Dorean
you guys changed me for the better I love you with all my heart.

And as for the rest of 2009..Best of Luck you will forever hold a place in my heart.
